Man of Mystery

I had several point and shoot 35mm film cameras growing up, and filled many rolls of film with friends, family, and wonderful candid shots, but found my lack of control through the development stages frustrating. I became enamored with digital photography over ten years ago, when my father bought his first camera. I realized the potential of being able to have complete control over all steps of the production process.

I purchased my first digital camera in August of 2003, and never looked back. That camera was a Nikon Coolpix 885, and it was a fantastic point and shoot. A few of the pictures you see in my portfolio are from that camera, because they're so good, I couldn't leave them out. In January of 2006, I upgraded to a Nikon D50 digital SLR, and over the past three years have been collecting an assortment of lenses and accessories to assist in filling my artistic yearning. In the time in between now and my purchase of my first digital camera, I spent many hours perfecting my digital editing and manipulation techniques producing websites and advertising for clients.

I have recently upgraded my equipment again to Nikon's flagship D200 model, for those who are curious.

When I'm not capturing fleeting glimpses of time for my clients, I'm spending time with my wife, Lisa, and our two dogs, three cats, and Russian tortoise.
